Privacy Policy

Paidova LLC ("Paidova", "we", "us") provides invoicing and payment tools for independent contractors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, business name, logo, phone number, mailing address), invoice and client data you enter into the app, and limited technical information (IP address, browser type, device identifiers, usage events) collected automatically when you use Paidova.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to operate the service, deliver invoices to your clients, process payments, prevent fraud, provide customer support, send transactional emails, and improve product features. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Payment Processing (Stripe)

Payments on Paidova are processed by Stripe, Inc. When a client pays an invoice, payment card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. Paidova does not store full card numbers. We receive limited information from Stripe such as the last four digits, card brand, and payment status to display in your dashboard.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use first-party cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure aggregate product usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the app may not work without them.

5. Third-Party Services

We share data with service providers strictly to run Paidova, including: Stripe (payments), Supabase / Lovable Cloud (hosting and database), and our transactional email provider. These vendors are bound by data processing agreements and may only use your data on our behalf.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (Paidova does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising). 7. Data Retention & Security

We retain account and invoice data for as long as your account is active and as required to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations. We protect data in transit with TLS and at rest with industry-standard encryption.

8. Children

Paidova is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
